Medhu Vadai

Ingredients:

  • Urud dal
  • Ginger ~ a small slice
  • Salt, Pepper ~ to taste

Steps:

  • Soak urud dal for a couple of hours (preferably overnight).
  • Grind with as little water as possible.
  • Add chopped ginger, pepper and salt to the urud dal batter.
  • Fry in hot oil.

Notes:

  • If you can get your hands on some curry leaves, add it to the ground batter before frying.
